Paper & pairing
Warm tones (oranges, yellows, ambers) show strong contrast between light and dark areas of each stroke, which is part of why they're popular with broader nibs. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Weenk
Weenk is a Korean fountain pen ink brand based in Seoul, whose name comes from the phrase "We, Ink, Weenk". It launched in fall 2023 at the Seoul Pen Show with fourteen inks organized into five collections, including several shimmer options. Its inks are sold in 15 ml and 50 ml bottles and in themed volumes such as the persimmon-inspired "Grow Ripe" series.
