Purples sit at the boundary of professional and playful, one of the more personality-forward choices that still reads clearly on the page. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Teranishi
Teranishi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is an Osaka-based Japanese ink and stationery manufacturer founded in 1916 by Choichi Teranishi and incorporated in 1948. It is best known for the Magic Ink felt-tip marker, a long-selling product launched in 1953, and for its Guitar brand of art materials and inks, which today includes the Guitar line of fountain pen inks.
