Paper & pairing
Reds and pinks show the most dramatic shading of any color family: expect real variation between the edges and center of each letter. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.

Scribe, formerly Scribe Writing Essentials, is a Philippine specialty retailer of fine writing instruments and stationery founded in 2002 by Marian Ong. It carries international fountain pen and ink brands such as Pelikan, Sailor, Platinum, TWSBI, Kaweco, J. Herbin and Noodler's through its webstore and retail branches in Metro Manila and Cebu.
