Paper & pairing
Blues and navies are the most broadly "safe" fountain pen colors: legible, professional, and unlikely to raise eyebrows in an office. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Scribal Workshop
Scribal Workshop is a family-owned American maker of historically inspired inks for writing, calligraphy and illumination, founded in 2011 by Lucas Tucker. It debuted publicly at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Texas in spring 2012 and still maintains a shop there. Its range includes medieval-style writing kits and mythology-themed pigmented fountain pen inks such as Mythical Whale Blue.
