Paper & pairing
Browns tend to photograph and scan a little darker than they look in person, worth testing before using one for anything that will be digitized. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Parafernalia
Parafernalia is a Milanese design brand that grew out of a boutique opened in Milan's Brera district in 1966. It makes aluminum writing instruments that are machined and hand-assembled in Italy, and is best known for the Revolution pen designed by Sergio Carpani in 1968, built from 31 individual parts.
