Reds and pinks show the most dramatic shading of any color family: expect real variation between the edges and center of each letter. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Paperchase
Paperchase was a British stationery retailer founded around 1968 by art students Judith Cash and Eddie Pond, growing to over 130 stores and concessions in the UK and abroad. The chain entered administration in January 2023, after which Tesco bought the brand and intellectual property while the standalone shops closed.
