Warm tones (oranges, yellows, ambers) show strong contrast between light and dark areas of each stroke, which is part of why they're popular with broader nibs. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About New Brew
New Brew is an independent Philippine fountain pen ink brand created by young ink maker Marcuz Bryant Cortez, who began blending inks after getting into the fountain pen hobby. The brand hand-produces bottled inks in dozens of colors with playful names such as Chocnut, Blurple and Diesel. Its inks are sold mainly through Philippine channels such as Shopee and Lazada and via its Instagram shop.
