Paper & pairing
Reds and pinks show the most dramatic shading of any color family: expect real variation between the edges and center of each letter. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Marabu Graphix
Marabu is a German manufacturer of inks and paints founded in 1859 by Albert Martz in Stuttgart as an artist and architect supply business; it began making drawing instruments and artists' paints in 1870 and moved production to Tamm, near Ludwigsburg, in 1919. Today the company produces screen, pad and digital printing inks alongside a broad range of creative and hobby paints, exporting the large majority of its output. Graphix is one of its creative product lines.
