This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. About Hirayama mannendou
Hirayama Mannendo is a long-established pen and stationery shop in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, founded in 1913 (Taisho 2). Over its century-plus history it moved from fountain pen manufacturing to retail, and today sells writing supplies, glass pens and original inks with Aomori-inspired colours such as 'Hirosaki Coffee'.
