Paper & pairing
Reds and pinks show the most dramatic shading of any color family: expect real variation between the edges and center of each letter. This ink will behave predictably on most fountain-pen-friendly paper. Cheap, highly absorbent paper (standard copier paper) will dull any ink's saturation and can cause feathering or bleed-through with wetter nibs.
About Capybara
Capybara is not a conventional commercial ink company but a small collection of hand-mixed inks documented by the Fountain Pen Pharmacist blog in April 2020. The reviewer described the colours as "mixed-by-hand" inks sent by an online friend that "don't have a company label", grouped for convenience under the name Capybara. The eight known shades (including The Deep, Loch Ness, Sylvan Mystery and Rose of Sharon) survive in collector databases from those reviews.
Storing and using the bottle
